i will get cancelled for this but many of you completely miss the point of these posts you see @marclou making $87k/month or @levelsio, @tibo_maker, @jackfriks whoever... and immediately start talking about privilege, luck, survivorship bias, scams, or why it won’t work for you. but i really have hard time to understand why your first instinct is to dismiss information instead of learn from it? someone is literally showing you what people are paying for. they’re showing you products, markets, distribution, execution, and demand in real time. and somehow your brain processes that as a threat instead of an opportunity. why? seriously, why?.. why does evidence that opportunity exists make you feel worse instead of more inspired or at least hopeful? for most of human history, this information was literally not accessible at all. today people publicly reveal their revenue, products, launches, mistakes, and growth strategies. that’s an unbelievable amount of free intelligence thrown at us yet so many people ignore the lessons because they’re too busy comparing outcomes. what if the real reason these posts upset you has nothing to do with the post? what if it’s because your ego is more interested in protecting itself than learning? the curious person sees this and asks: what patterns am i missing? why are these products winning? what can i steal, adapt, or learn? the ego-driven person asks: why isn’t that me? one mindset gets smarter but the other gets bitter. yes, statistically most people who try to build something will fail, but also statistically your odds improve when you study reality instead of arguing with it. so next time before calling these posts unrealistic, ask yourself a harder question: why does seeing someone else’s success trigger emotion before curiosity? answer to that question will determine your future far more than their revenue ever will to be clear, i made $0 this month from my multiple saas businesses
